Isaiah 61:1
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
The streets are paved with footprints. In grocery stores, buildings and schools, guided by your Spirit, sharing your precious Name.
Afraid, I sometimes ignored your call and kept walking, tried to justify my actions:
“too busy…”
“other things to do…”
“what do I say?…”
“what if?…”
Many chose to dance the thin line of eternity, not caring about the flames licking their feet below. Demons hold onto them, laughing, taking advantage of their blind eyes.
“Father, remove this fear and comfort, exchange passiveness for boldness, increase my compassion and love for those that are dying. Humanity needs the Savior.”
His glory shines through my flesh, showing them the way. His double-edged sword pierces through their lies, prayer pulls back the veil.
Now they can see.
A mother and father with their children, brothers and sisters reunited.
Joy removes the pain, light covers the darkness, no more depression, no more hopelessness. It is finished
His beauty for their ashes, His wholeness for their void, His life for the lost.
