Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Mike. I was born in New York City and raised in Miami, FL, where I still live today. I am of Cuban descent, and a proud one at that! Pa’lante los latinos!
I gave my life to Christ at 17 during a Bible study at my high school and have never looked back. I was radically transformed by Christ. It has been the adventure of a lifetime, and His love and grace have given me everything I have.
To learn why I started this blog, read my first post here. Here is who I am in a nutshell:
- I wrote Illuminations: 30 Poems From God’s Heart To Yours. Every poem on this blog starts with a Bible verse.
- I was a certified Florida teacher for over 8 years, in special education and elementary classrooms. Today I am a full-time content creator.
- I am a major geek, especially when it comes to video games and anime. I connect faith with my hobbies at Gaming & God, and I also write for Beneath The Tangles.
- I record devotionals for the Daily Nerd Devo podcast.
