Jeremiah 31:3
3 Long ago the Lord said to Israel:
“I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.
Weak and Lonely
Drowning and Hopeless
Who am I?
You don’t care. You’ve never cared…
Where are You…Why haven’t you been there when I needed You…
Do you truly love me? How much?
More than a mother protecting her only child?
How about a soldier dying for their country?
What of the intimacy between a husband and wife? What about the closeness of friends or the warmth of a father’s hand, holding his son before his last breath?
More…more…so much more…
Why?
Who am I to You that You grant such love, such grace. Why…why…What am I worth to You? What did I do to deserve this love?
You are worth My life
You are worth My blood
You’ve done nothing. My love has paid the price, and all is finished.
🦋Beautiful piece.
Great blog.
